Wow !! What a Response !!

to help start Local Chapters

I'm reminded of the line from the movie "Field of Dreams," when Kevin Costner hears this voice that says, "If you build it, they will come."

Because that's how you have responded to our invitation to get involved by helping start a Local Chapter in your area!

In just five days, nearly 200 of you have told us you're ready to lead a chapter in your area, and over 900 of you have said you want to help start one.

I've been doing grassroots organizing for over 20 years, and this is just a phenomenal beginning of our ACT for America citizen action network. Thank you for your enthusiastic response!

Over the next few weeks we will be compiling the information you have given us, launch the ACT for America website, and complete the creation of a chapter starter kit that will be made available to all of you who signed up. Even if you didn't sign up to lead a Local Chapter, we want you to be aware of the basics of successfully launching and building such a chapter.

Building this citizen action network is absolutely crucial to winning the war against Islamofascism here in America. If you have been following recent email alerts and blog postings on the American Congress for Truth website (www.americancongressfortruth.com), you know that there is an amazing amount of political correctness, naivete, and just plain foolishness among government officials with respect to this threat.

Overcoming this politically correct foolishness will require a powerful, collective grassroots voice. Government officials and elected representatives need to know, without a doubt, that millions and millions of Americans are not going to sit back while our security, safety and liberty are held hostage to political correctness. Political correctness can be annoying, frustrating, even exasperating. When it comes to the issue of Islamofascism, political correctness will literally kill us.
