US Muslim soldier Zachari Klawonn, who appeared in uniform on Al-Jazeera complaining of Islamophobia in US military was EXPELLED in 2008 for bringing GUN to SCHOOL and a rap video THREATENING school staff, and is friends with convicted terror exporter.

Uh oh, looks like Islamo-apologist,, Muslim-appeasing, ABC got suckered again in it’s fawning, anti-U.S. military, interview with a U.S. soldier complaining of Islamophobia in the military on al-Jazeera. It turns out (via Jawa Report) that CAIR poster boy SPC. Zachari Klawonn at Ft. Hood is not so squeaky-clean as the media makes him out to be. According to the Herald Tribune, Klawonn was expelled from school for bringing a gun to school. He also participated in a rap video that threatened his high school teachers and staff.

Joe Kaufman at Americans Against Hate has previously reported on Klawonn, including this picture of him running around with convicted terror exporter (he was convicted for exporting thermal imaging equipment to Syria) Bassem Alhalabi (At one time, Al Halabi served as a research assistant for University of South Florida professor Sami Al-Arian, who was the North American leader of Palestinian Islamic Jihad)):

And as for Klawonn being a CAIR poster boy, there’s much evidence for this:

Since he enlisted, Klawonn has personally filed a number of complaints with his commanders about what he perceives as intolerant acts against him. He says that one of the toughest things he has had to endure is his fellow soldiers referring to him as “terrorist.” This is dubious, however, as Klawonn has begun to associate himself with groups connected to terrorism.One of these groups is CAIR or the Council on American-Islamic Relations.

CAIR was founded by Hamas operatives in June 1994, and from 2007 through 2008, CAIR was named by the U.S. Justice Department a party to the financing of millions of dollars to Hamas.

Klawonn solicited CAIR to write a letter on his behalf to Defense Secretary Robert Gates, complaining of the Army’s treatment of him.

Another group Klawonn has gotten involved with is United Voices for America (UVA), an organization headed by the former Executive Director of CAIR-Tampa and former “unofficial spokesman” for convicted terrorist Sami al-Arian, Ahmed Bedier.

It sounds like Klawonn is, if not an Islamist himself, at the very least a terrorist sympathizer who hangs with an Islamist, terrorist-supporting, crowd, including Islamist, terrorist-supporting, CAIR..

Abdo is claiming conscientious objector status, even though it’s not because of his pacificism, but his religious ideology (not grounds for objector status).
