Calvary Chapel Chino Hills

Thousands in California Faith Community Take Action!
By Christine Reagan, ACT National Grassroots Director

Pastor Jack Hibbs and his church, Calvary Chapel Chino Hills, lead the way in California, organizing churches throughout the state to mobilize and stop an unprecedented, radical socialist medicine bill in the state.

In a recent appearance, Pastor Hibbs announced, “As you know, the Democrats have a Supermajority power control over Sacramento, and they’ve had that for years.”

“AB 1400 was expected to just sail through, and California would be the first socialistic state in America and that vote was on January 31st.”

“You’ve gotta know something, the flood of phone calls to Sacramento and to the appropriate assembly members did not come from the general population, because they tried to hide that bill. They did a lot of hard work to hide that bill from you by design.”

“Just our local assemblymen received thousands of phone calls saying, “make sure that you oppose this.””
“The supporters of the bill got phone calls from the people that they represent, and it so got their attention that they put pressure on the author of the bill and the author pulled the bill.”

“What’s amazing about this is, that even amongst their own camp, when you put the pressure on, that God has given you to do, you exercised righteousness and you made your voice heard in a Republic in which you live.”

“God gave you this Republic and you are supposed to be a steward, a governor, of this Republic.”

“You’re supposed to be the one that tells your leaders what to do, you’re the ones that sent them there, and they’re supposed to listen to you. They’re not supposed to make stuff up, ok, so you let them know what you thought, and even though they are against your view, the fear of them being voted out of office caused them to put pressure on the author.”

“Ladies and gentlemen, I know it’s hard to recognize, but what you guys just did is called the United States of America. This is exactly how this government is supposed to work, it’s exactly what God gave us, and it’s not political, this is how a Republic works.”

“This is a Republic. It’s supposed to be ‘We The People’.”

“There is a citizenry that is supposed to fight at the ballot box or the voting booth, and in this case, you picked up the phone and you left a message.”

“And your little message that you think is so insignificant ROCKED Sacramento. So God Bless you!”

ACT for America planted its very first chapter at Calvary Chapel Chino Hills, with Pastor Jack Hibbs support and endorsement. I was with Brigitte Gabriel, supporting and running her table at the church the first night she decided to announce the launch of chapters nationwide and I committed to run her first chapter right on the spot. I know what kind of miracles can happen in a community, State, and Nation when the church engages as salt and light in the world around them!

Our organization sprung to life through the many churches that hosted Brigitte Gabriel to speak across the country, 20 years ago this year!

The story featured here can be your story. That, even in the toughest political environment, and against all odds, when the saints ACT in Faith™ mountains are moved!

This year we are proud to launch ACT in Faith™ chapters, serving faith communities across the country to do exactly the kind of work that this church has done this past week in California, and has been doing for many years.

Churches and synagogues are large groups of organized folks that share biblical worldview values. By acting together as salt and light in our communities, through God’s people, we restore and save the country one city at a time. And when the church corporately works together, nothing can stand in our way.
