AZ: Designate CAIR and Muslim Brotherhood Terrorist Orgs

Actions Taken
This legislative session Arizona legislators have the opportunity, via a trifecta of legislative methods (memorials, resolutions, and bills), to designate both CAIR and the Muslim Brotherhood as terrorist organizations. Rep. John Gillette (R-District 30), a courageous legislator who has already introduced two memorials (HCM 2001 and HCM 2002), intends to also put forward bills and resolutions to address this matter. HCM 2001 aims to rightfully designate the Muslim Brotherhood as a terrorist organization, while HCM 2002 aims to do the same for CAIR.
These designations are long past due in Arizona. Other states and President Trump have already moved forward to take similar action. Use ACT for America's outreach tool to contact your state officials today! Demand that they vote in favor of listing both of these un-American groups as terror organizations.
***UPDATE***
Arizona’s House Federalism, Military Affairs & Elections Committee took a bold and necessary step on 01/21/26 by approving two concurrent memorials urging Congress and the President to designate the Muslim Brotherhood and the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) as foreign terrorist organizations. On a party-line vote, House Concurrent Memorial 2001 and House Concurrent Memorial 2002 were passed, sending a loud and clear message that Americans are no longer willing to tolerate political correctness over national security.
