The SAVE America Act, introduced by Congressman Chip Roy (R-TX) and Senator Mike Lee (R-UT), is a strengthened and updated version of the original SAVE Act designed to secure America’s elections. This improved legislation (H.R. 7296/S. 3752) adds a clear voter ID requirement for federal elections while preserving the original bill’s proof-of-citizenship requirement for voter registration.
