Brigitte Gabriel, Most Prominent Lebanese Political Figure and Activists in the US calls on Lebanese People to crush Hezbollah, Embrace Peace with Israel, and Reclaim Lebanon's Glorious Heritage

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Brigitte Gabriel, founder and chair of ACT for America, the nation's largest national security grassroots organization, today released a heartfelt and urgent message directed to the people of Lebanon, calling for national unity, the disarmament of Hezbollah, and a bold turn toward peace with Israel and alignment with the broader Arab world against Iranian influence.

In her message, Gabriel—a Lebanese-born survivor of the civil war who witnessed firsthand the destruction wrought by radical ideologies—honors Lebanon's storied past as the cradle of the Phoenician civilization, innovators who gave the world the alphabet and bridged cultures through trade and ingenuity. She laments how this legacy of enlightenment has been overshadowed by Hezbollah, which she describes as a "cancer" serving Tehran's ambitions rather than Lebanon's sovereignty.

"Hezbollah has betrayed Lebanon from within, transforming our jewel of the Levant into a hub of terrorism," Gabriel states. "Our cities bear the scars of their proxy wars: bombed neighborhoods, shattered infrastructure, and an economy ruined by corruption and isolation. Enough suffering. Enough misery. Do not blame Israel—blame the enemy within: Hezbollah."

Gabriel urges Lebanese leadership, the army, and citizens of all faiths—Christians, Muslims and Druze, to transcend sectarian divides and put Lebanon first. She highlights the transformative potential of joining neighbors like Egypt, Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, Gulf states, and Saudi Arabia in partnerships with Israel and America, as exemplified by the Abraham Accords, which promise security, innovation, and economic prosperity.

Addressing potential criticisms, Gabriel firmly denies any financial ties to Israel: "I do not take, nor have I ever taken, a dollar from Israel. As a successful entrepreneur, I donate to Israeli charities just as I do to Lebanese ones supporting Christians. Following the Beirut port explosion—caused by Hezbollah's negligence—I worked tirelessly to send $18 million in aid from the United States to help Lebanon."

She emphasizes that Israel has acted as an "unintended liberator" for Lebanon, first in 1982 against PLO terror and more recently by weakening Hezbollah's grip, enabling progress toward electing a president after years of deadlock. "Israel seeks no endless strife; it craves peace," Gabriel asserts. "If Arabs set aside their weapons, what glory awaits—a Middle East blooming with peace and prosperity."

Gabriel concludes with a visionary call: "The Lebanese government and leaders must enact bold policies to disarm militias, restore the rule of law, and rebuild institutions with transparency and unity. We owe this to our Phoenician forebears and to the youth, who deserve a Lebanon that inspires awe, not sorrow."

ACT for America stands with Brigitte Gabriel in supporting the Lebanese people's right to a free, prosperous, and sovereign future, free from the grip of Iranian-backed terrorism. The organization remains committed to educating Americans on national security threats and empowering citizens to preserve freedom and security.
